In the occasion of a series of conferences on the historical Italian water aerodromes, held in Brindisi and Taranto, in the Puglia region of Italy, Cesare Baj offered two contributions.

Baj, relying on the investigations made in the United States, on his knowledge of dozens of seaplane activities around the world and the centennial activity of the Como seaplene base, outlined the outstanding benefits of a seaplane activity and its tiny environmental impact.
